About the Role
Are you an experienced Travel CNA looking for your next assignment? We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and adaptable Travel Certified Nursing Assistant to join our long-term care team in Wisner, NE.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality, resident-centered care, support daily living activities, and collaborate closely with nursing staff to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal hygiene, and mobility.
Monitor, record, and report vital signs, daily intake/output, and subtle changes in resident condition.
Maintain complete and accurate electronic medical records (EMR) documentation in a timely manner.
Assist with resident activity setups, therapy routine support, and basic care procedures per facility protocol.
Support residents' emotional well-being and foster a respectful, clean, and safe physical environment.
Collaborate effectively with RNs, LPNs, and interdisciplinary care teams to follow individualized care plans.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: High School Diploma/GED + completion of a state-approved CNA program with competency evaluation.
Licensure: Active Nebraska state CNA certification (or compact equivalent) in good standing.
Certifications: Current CPR / BLS certification.
Experience: Prior experience providing resident-focused care in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care setting.
Skills: Strong observational skills, clear communication, EMR documentation experience, and a strong team-player mindset.
Flexibility: Willingness and flexibility to work dedicated day shifts as scheduled.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior travel healthcare experience.
Background with fall prevention programs or specialized wound care observation.
Working knowledge of standard infection control protocols.
Bilingual capabilities (Spanish is a plus).
