Responsibilities
- Operate GE CT scanners (VCT 64-slice, HD750, Frontier 64-slice) to acquire diagnostic quality images across neonate to geriatric populations; perform CT angiography (CTA) and stroke workups as indicated
- Administer contrast agents, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and ensure safe patient care and radiation safety practices
- Apply stroke protocol and trauma imaging protocols; quickly adapt imaging approach in a high-volume, high-acuity environment
- Produce and evaluate images for quality; perform basic 3D reconstructions/post-processing as needed; review images with radiologists and expedite interpretation
- Manage workflow in EPIC charting; document procedures, results, and any contrast reactions; participate in PACS workflows
- Float coverage between the ER and main CT to support department needs; participate in on-call coverage as required
- Adhere to patient safety, infection control, and radiation dose optimization standards

Requirements
- Certifications: ARRT-CT, ARRT-R; BLS required
- Experience: Posting lists 1 year minimum; client notes specify 2 years minimum for submission—verify before submittal
- GE CT experience within the last year (hard stop)
- Stroke protocol efficiency and trauma imaging proficiency
- Ability to work in a high-volume/trauma environment; capable of multitasking and applying critical thinking
- Equipment familiarity: GE CT scanners (VCT 64-slice, HD750, Frontier 64-slice)
- Floating and on-call availability; weekend coverage required
- Unit experience: Level II Trauma Center environment; familiarity with ER/IR/IP workflows
- Charting system: EPIC experience preferred
