Travel Radiology Radiology Tech Job
Radiology Technologist – Radiology in Hilo, HI. This is a travel, temporary 13-week assignment beginning 05/18/2026 with a weekly pay range of $1,947–$2,001 and no guaranteed hours. Shifts are rotating (day/evening) with an average of 3 on-call days per month. The role is in an acute-care, hospital-type setting requiring relocation to the island; onboarding includes HR/EH clearance processes with arrival on the island the Thursday before the Monday start.

Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic imaging procedures as ordered, ensuring appropriate patient positioning and image quality.
- Operate radiographic equipment (including DR and C-arm systems) and adapt settings to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
- Apply radiologic safety protocols, monitor radiation exposure, and maintain dosimeter badge compliance.
- Document procedures and results in the Epic EMR and other referenced systems; collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff.
- Maintain and trouble-shoot radiography equipment, assist with basic quality control, and ensure overall department readiness.
- Participate in onboarding and credential verification activities as part of assignment initiation (HR/EH clearance).
Requirements
- Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license (active) prior to start
- ARRT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of two (2) years of radiologic technologist experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in radiographic equipment operation; ability to work independently with strict adherence to radiation safety
- Dosimeter badge required; on-site work in varying day/evening shifts with on-call responsibilities
- Experience with Epic EMR, Philips DR, Philips C-arm, OEC C-arm, and Konica DR is preferred
