Registered Nurse, Float Pool, Geneva, New York. Start date: 08/17/2026 for 22–26 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,018–$2,132 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12-hour days (7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.) with holiday coverage. This travel temporary assignment is in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. You will be cross-trained to float across multiple units and respond to unit needs, ensuring safe, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across multiple units (med/surg, ICU, ER) as needed, following physician orders and hospital protocols
- Monitor patient status, perform ongoing assessments, and communicate changes to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments, document in the electronic medical record, and ensure accuracy of orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, respond to emergencies, and escalate as appropriate
- Demonstrate flexibility to float to ICU/ER/MS/MST and adapt care plans for age-specific needs
Requirements
- NYS Licensed Registered Professional Nurse
- BSN required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (through American Heart Association or RQI) and NIHSS required
- Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire
- CPI certification within 90 days of hire
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care units
- Ability to work in a floating capacity across ICU, ER, Med/Surg, and related units
- Comfort handling confidential information and collaborating effectively in a team environment
