Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job
Registered Nurse, PCU in a hospital setting, located in Atlanta, GA. This travel assignment starts on 07/06/2026 for 8 weeks with guaranteed hours. Weekly pay ranges from $1,606 to $1,697 per week. Shift is night, 2x3 schedule (12-hour nights). The unit supports a cardiac population in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU with telemetry and cardiac monitoring. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for PCU/IMCU cardiac patients, including telemetry monitoring and assessment.
- Administer prescribed medications and cardiac drips as ordered (examples include Milrinone, Dobutamine, vasopressors) and monitor hemodynamic status.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, manage IVs and pumps, and respond to clinical changes promptly.
- Collaborate with cardiology, nursing colleagues, and ancillary teams; support discharge planning and patient education.
- Uphold a 1:3–4 nurse-to-patient ratio; document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.
Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMCU experience in a facility of similar size
- PCU/Telemetry experience with cardiac populations (STEMI/NSTEMI, CTS, CP)
- Ability to work night shift in a hospital setting with a 1:3–4 patient ratio
