Position: Registered Nurse, PCU. Location: Fort Myers, FL. Start date: 12/04/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,003-$2,196 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour nights (12x3). Setting: hospital-based travel assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for PCU patients, including ongoing assessment, planning, and evaluation of care needs.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, manage IV therapy, and operate required clinical equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians, unit leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct frequent rounds, respond promptly to changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns per protocol.
- Document all patient care activities accurately in the Epic EMR and participate in effective handoffs during shift changes.
- Float to related units as needed, while maintaining unit standards, patient safety, and quality of care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of PCU or equivalent experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and float to other units as needed
- Willingness to participate in a travel temporary assignment and comply with assignment requirements
