Travel Registered Nurse House Supervisor Job
House Supervisor (RN) travel assignment in Rochester, NY. Start date 08/10/2026 for a weeks-long assignment with weekly pay between $2,545 and $2,650. Shifts rotate across 8-hour blocks (5x8 rotating). This is a travel - temporary hospital assignment. The role oversees operations for a 311-bed facility with ED, Family Birthplace, Surgical Services, 14 med-surg units and a 20-bed ICU; ICU charge/providers participate on the Rapid Response Team and Code Team with supervisor support; centralized staffing provides coverage coordination.

Responsibilities
- Provide house supervisor leadership across ED, Family Birthplace, Surgical Services, 14 med-surg units, and a 20-bed ICU; oversee patient flow, safety, and staffing coverage
- Serve as charge nurse and clinical supervisor; participate in crisis response, Rapid Response Team and Code Team activities with supervisor support
- Collaborate with centralized staffing to coordinate coverage, float assignments, and cross-unit staffing needs
- Ensure regulatory compliance, infection control, and patient safety; uphold HIPAA, DPH, TJC, and OSHA requirements; contribute to sentinel event follow-up as needed
- Support discharge planning and interdepartmental communication; assist with off-shift operations as outlined in the contract
Requirements
- Active New York RN license in hand to submit
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- Previous charge experience required
- Travel experience required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS
- Ability to work across multiple units and float as needed
