Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound imaging using high-frequency sound waves to create diagnostic images of the patient’s body for clinical assessment.
- Prepare patients, position them properly, apply gel, and operate ultrasound equipment, adjusting technical settings to optimize image quality.
- Collaborate with physicians to review images, contribute to diagnostic information, and support treatment planning.
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy; adhere to infection control and procedural protocols.
- Document imaging findings accurately, label images correctly, and ensure proper storage and integration into the medical record.
Requirements
- ARDMS certification is required
- Minimum 2 years of diagnostic sonography experience
- Ability to work in a hospital setting
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment with a defined start date (06/01/2026) and duration
- Demonstrated commitment to professional standards and patient care
