Travel Physical Therapist Job
Physical Therapist. Inpatient acute care specialty, travel assignment in Zanesville, Ohio. Start date 05/11/2026 for a 12-week assignment with 40 guaranteed hours per week at a rate of $2,321 to $2,370 per week. Shift is day with varied start times on a rotating schedule, including one weekend shift per month. Setting is a clinic-based inpatient rehabilitation program serving adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic and other complex conditions. Experience with orthopedic/joint replacement post-operative patients is preferred, and EPIC EMR experience is desirable.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat adult and geriatric inpatients with orthopedic/postoperative joint replacement and other semi-complex diagnoses, working within an acute care framework
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized physical therapy treatment plans to meet patient goals and discharge criteria
- Document patient evaluation, progress, and outcomes in EPIC EMR; communicate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Provide patient and family education on mobility, functional goals, and home programs; participate in care coordination and discharge planning
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case management, and other therapy disciplines to ensure safe, effective care and timely progression of therapy
- Maintain professional standards and safety guidelines, with flexibility to adapt to varying start times and weekend coverage as required
Requirements
- Active Ohio physical therapy license; must be current and not in the licensing process
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- 2 years of acute care experience preferred
- Experience with Orthopedics/Joint Replacement postoperative patients preferred
- Ability to work in an inpatient acute care setting with a rotating day schedule and occasional weekend coverage
