Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery, Aberdeen, WA. Start on 07/06/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a pay range of $2,646–$2,787 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights (1845–0715). Work setting involves Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery care in a healthcare facility. The assignment offers the opportunity to pick up additional shifts. The surrounding area provides access to Pacific Northwest beaches and the Olympic National Forest. Return-to-time-off (RTO) requests must be approved and added to the end of the contract.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to obstetric patients and newborns in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications per orders, and assist with labor and delivery as needed
- Document in the electronic medical record; Meditech experience is helpful
- Collaborate with the obstetric team, participate in care planning, and assist with scrub duties when requested
- Maintain infection prevention, patient safety, and high-quality care; respond to obstetric emergencies
- Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care and discharge readiness
Requirements
- Current WA RN license required; multi-state licenses accepted with verification:
- Approved 6-hour suicide training
- Demographics verification from Nursys
- BLS and NRP certifications required; STABLE training preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced obstetric care environment; available for 3x12-hour night shifts
- Clinical experience in L&D, postpartum, and nursery settings preferred
