Responsibilities
- Deliver direct ICU nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process and evidence-based practices.
- Monitor patient status, interpret assessments, detect changes, and respond promptly to clinical developments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans; coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other team members.
- Administer medications and therapies per orders; ensure safe medication practices and accurate documentation.
- Document care in the electronic medical record (Epic); participate in rounds, discharge planning, and escalation when needed.
- Educate patients and families, provide learning opportunities for team members, and delegate appropriately to support staff.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/acute care nursing experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a hospital ICU environment
