Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per the nursing plan and facility protocol.
- Monitor residents’ conditions, vital signs, and respond to changes in status following clinical guidelines.
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living and mobility needs.
- Support wound care, hygiene, personal care, and infection control practices.
- Document care provided in the electronic health record and communicate changes to the supervising nurse and care team.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and ensure patient safety and comfort.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Mexico in good standing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to work 3x12 night shifts and meet guaranteed hours.
- Strong documentation and communication skills; proficient with electronic health records.
- Eligibility for a temporary 11-week travel assignment and successful onboarding/credentialing process.
- Comfort working in a skilled nursing facility environment with adult residents.
