X-Ray Technologist – Radiology travel assignment in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Start date: May 18, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,296-$2,482 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 3x12 rotating. Setting: hospital radiology department; travel - temporary assignment. Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic radiologic exams as ordered by Providers, for infants through geriatric patients.
- Operate radiography equipment and support OR procedures with C-Arm; may perform EKGs and Dexa bone density scans within scope of licensure.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards; monitor dosimetry and ensure patient shielding and comfort; maintain image quality and proper documentation.
- Prepare patients for exams, verify orders, explain procedures, and obtain consent when required; monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Enter and manage image data in the electronic health record (EPIC or equivalent) and ensure accurate labeling and workflow integrity.
- Collaborate with radiology team, surgeons, and providers; participate in trauma and cross-functional care as needed; adapt to varying shift demands including nights.
Requirements
- ARRT certification and BLS (AHA or ARC) required
- 2+ years of radiology experience; previous travel experience required
- Strong OR/surgical radiography skills with C-Arm; Trauma Level I experience
- Ability to work with all patient populations (infant through geriatric)
- EPIC experience and O-Arm experience preferred
