Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents within the scope of practice for an LPN
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration accurately and timely
- Monitor residents’ vital signs, assess changes in condition, and report findings to the supervising RN
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure comfort and safety during care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust individualized care plans
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in the electronic health record and ensure clear handoffs between shifts
Requirements
- LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) with credentials appropriate to practice in the setting
- Ability to work the scheduled shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Willingness to commit to a 6-week travel assignment
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
