CT Technologist (CT Tech) – Radiology in Hilo, HI, US, Travel - Temporary Assignment. This 13-week travel assignment starts on 06/22/2026 in a radiology department working with CT imaging. Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography scans following radiologist protocols; ensure image quality and patient safety
- Operate CT equipment (Canon/Toshiba CT units) and Vitrea workstation; document procedures in the EMR (Meditech)
- Conduct venipuncture as needed and perform post-processing (MIP, MPR, 3D imaging); assist with procedures such as biopsies or drainages
- Support vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, and stroke imaging as indicated; collaborate with radiologists on interpretation and protocol optimization
- Maintain radiation safety, sterile technique, and patient comfort; function independently with minimal supervision
Requirements
- Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license (radiographer), active by start date
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an acute care setting
- Ability to scan per radiologist protocols and work independently; proficient with venipuncture, MIP/MPR/3D imaging; familiarity with Meditech EMR and imaging workflows is preferred
- Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation preferred
- Must arrive Thursday before start to complete employee health clearance; proof of influenza vaccination or an approved exemption is required prior to contract start
