Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
RN L&D Postpartum/Nursery/Antepartum Nights – an experienced labor and delivery nurse role in an inpatient obstetric care setting. This travel assignment starts 04/06/2026 for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 36 hours per week and a pay range of $1,984 to $2,154 per week. Shift is Nights. The assignment covers antepartum, labor, postpartum, and nursery care in a rural obstetric unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across antepartum, labor, postpartum, and nursery for obstetric patients.
- Monitor fetal status using intermittent fetal monitoring and respond to signs of fetal distress.
- Support OB circulating duties when needed and assist the obstetric team during deliveries.
- Administer medications, perform routine assessments, and update care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with nursing and multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety, comfort, and education.
- Document care activities accurately and participate in discharge planning as appropriate.
Requirements
- Active RN license (state of residence/current) or eligible to practice as a registered nurse.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
- Experience: Experienced Labor & Delivery nurse; OB circulator experience preferred.
- Ability to work nights in an inpatient obstetric care setting.
- Ability to adapt to a rural obstetric unit environment.
