Responsibilities
- Conduct nursing assessments, implement care plans, and document patient status and responses to interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders; monitor patient responses and report changes to the provider.
- Notify the physician or advance practice provider of pertinent information and coordinate admissions and discharges as needed.
- Provide Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assistance and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Perform specialized care tasks including Gastrostomy Tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulized therapy, and wound VAC care.
- Manage respiratory care needs (CPAP) and Tracheostomy care; collaborate with the care team to support airway and comfort.
Requirements
- Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment; active in good standing.
- Ability to work varied 8-hour shifts including weekends and holidays; flexible schedule essential.
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to complete employee health clearance.
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment; travel-ready status.
- Ability to perform nursing duties in a LTC-adjacent care setting and adapt to a dynamic schedule.
