Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job
Registered Nurse – Med Surg in Lodi, CA. Travel - Temporary Assignment beginning 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,595 per week to $1,697 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36. Shift: 3x12-night shifts. Facility setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital (approximately 190 beds). This assignment requires active licensure in California, and is eligible for a travel nursing arrangement through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver and coordinate direct nursing care for Med Surg patients using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments, document care, and respond to changes in condition with professional judgment.
- Develop and refine care plans, collaborate with the healthcare team, and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately and ensure safe, compliant care delivery.
- Provide patient and family education, promote health and safety, and support treatment team communications during rounds and handoffs.
- Maintain a healing, humane environment, adhere to infection control standards, and participate in quality and safety initiatives as applicable.
Requirements
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California required).
- Education: BSN preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience in a relevant field, with acute care exposure preferred.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Additional: CPR/BLS as applicable per policy; ability to work the night shift; strong critical-thinking and collaboration skills; eligible to work in a fast-paced Med Surg setting.
