Travel Radiology Cath Lab Tech Job
Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) – Cath Lab in Rochester, NY. This travel assignment starts on 04/27/2026 for a 13-week duration with 10-hour shifts (4x10). Weekly pay ranges from $2,735 to $2,924. The position is hospital-based and requires RCIS certification or ARRT with eligibility for NYS grandfathering under Public Health Law 2824; on-call duties may be required per unit needs.

Responsibilities
- Prepare the procedure room and sterile field, set up sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment; anticipate needs and operate equipment; maintain sterile technique.
- Function in multiple roles on the procedure team, including scrub, circulator, and documenter/monitor.
- Assist with invasive cardiac procedures requiring Right and Left Heart hemodynamics, cardiac interventions, CTO/PCI, Pericardiocentesis, and vascular interventions.
- Support mechanical circulatory support devices (ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo) and participate in structural heart work (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS; PFO/ASD/VSD; valvuloplasty as indicated).
- Monitor patient status, document procedural details, and maintain equipment readiness and room turnover efficiency.
Requirements
- Active RCIS certification (CCI) or ARRT; or NYS license/eligibility to grandfather into Public Health Law 2824
- 2 years Cath Lab Tech experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- COVID-19 vaccination completed
- Education: Radiologic Technologist (RCIS) or eligible for NYS 2824 grandfathering
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts in a hospital/cath lab setting and participate in on-call activities as needed
