Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care for physical therapy needs
- Implement therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercise, gait training, and modalities as ordered
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust the plan of care accordingly
- Communicate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team; participate in discharge planning
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and functional goals
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and standards
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license in Delaware or eligibility to practice in Delaware
- Degree in physical therapy from an accredited program (professional credentialing expected)
- Ability to work in a hospital/travel assignment setting and complete a 40-hour workweek
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrated documentation proficiency and clinical reasoning in physical therapy
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and adhere to facility policies and procedures
