Registered Nurse – Med Surg | Ukiah, California | Travel assignment begins 10/05/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,795.00 to $1,846.00 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 Night shifts (5:00 PM–5:30 AM as noted). Work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This position is a travel, temporary assignment staffed through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients using established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant data, analyze information, and develop a care plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes.
- Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery with other disciplines, and promote a safe, healing environment; reassess and adjust as needed.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and therapies, and document care accurately; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team; provide education and learning opportunities to patients and family members.
Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California required)
- Certifications: BLS/CPR required; ACLS required; PALS preferred (or optional for first contract but must be attained if extending)
- Experience: Minimum two years of recent acute care experience; ability to work in a high-acuity med/surg setting
- Education: BSN preferred
- Additional: Ability to work night shift and weekend rotation; demonstrate critical thinking and independent judgment; maintain a safe and compliant practice environment
