Responsibilities
- Perform OB/GYN ultrasound studies, including fetal anatomy scans (routine and detailed), follow-up OB, BPP, UMB and MCA Dopplers, 1st trimester assessments, pelvic imaging, sonohysterography, and HyCoSy as needed.
- Manage patient flow, seeing up to 8 patients per day (4 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon); twin pregnancies count as two scans in a half-day.
- Document findings and images in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and maintain high standards for image quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and reproductive endocrinology colleagues; adhere to OB/GYN scanning protocols and safety guidelines.
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot as needed, and participate in facility orientation and ongoing training requirements.
Requirements
- ARDMS credential with OB/GYN specialization
- Active Vermont license at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience, including OB/GYN scans (fetal anatomy, follow-up OB, BPP, Dopplers, 1st trimester, pelvic, sonohysterography, HyCoSy)
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Prior travel experience required
- BLS certification
- Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency)
