Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients across units, including urology, gynecology, orthopedics, medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT vascular.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications and treatments, and respond to changing conditions.
- Document care activities and patient responses in the Epic electronic medical record with accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case management, and ancillary staff to implement and adjust care plans.
- Promote patient safety, pain management, infection control, and discharge planning through education and support.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license with Nursys license verification (Georgia or state of assignment) and ability to practice in the listed location
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience
- Current certification card on file; appropriate professional certifications as applicable
- Availability for Day 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week; no time off (RTO) during the assignment
