Travel Registered Nurse Post Surgical Job
CA - RN Main OR Surgery Services in Chico, California, United States. This travel - temporary assignment starts March 24, 2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift: 4x10 days. Weekly pay range: $2,708 to $2,850. The role is in a Level II trauma facility, working primarily in the main operating room with occasional float to outpatient surgery as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the main operating room, including patient assessment, sterile technique, instrument handling, and patient advocacy
- Assist the surgeon and circulating nurse; monitor anesthesia and vital signs; maintain a safe and sterile environment
- Prepare operating rooms, gather equipment, perform surgical counts, assist with specimen labeling and handoffs
- Float to outpatient surgery as needed; adapt to varying case types and surgical specialties
- Document perioperative care accurately in the medical record; communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team
- Uphold safety standards, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance throughout the perioperative process
Requirements
- Active California RN license
- CPR Recognition, ACLS Recognition, PALS Recognition
- At least two years perioperative (surgical) nursing experience
- CNOR certification preferred
- Ability to work in a Level II trauma facility and to float to outpatient surgery as needed
- Must be eligible for a travel assignment and comply with agency staffing requirements
