Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive OT evaluations for residents in a skilled nursing care setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve activities of daily living and functional mobility
- Provide direct therapy, therapeutic activities, and recommendations for adaptive equipment
- Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge planning in resident records
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing or geriatric care setting is preferred
- Strong documentation and charting skills in healthcare records
- Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize care in a patient-centered environment
- Effective communication with residents, families, and the care team
- Availability for a 14-week travel assignment starting 12/07/2026 with guaranteed 35 hours per week
