- Mileage-based pay tiers apply based on distance from home: Local (50 miles or less), Radius (51-100 miles), Travel (101 miles+)

Responsibilities
- Provide prescribed respiratory care to adult ICU and general inpatient units, including ventilator management, bronchodilator therapy, suctioning, and NIV/Weaning as appropriate
- Monitor patient response, interpret and act on ABG results, and adjust therapies in collaboration with the care team
- Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in the Epic electronic medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and device use; participate in safety and infection control practices
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure availability of supplies; comply with shift schedules, including weekends as needed

Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT) and NBRC verification
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Teaching hospital experience required; prior travel experience preferred
- All specialties worked must be well documented on each employment entry
- Must work effectively in an inpatient care setting; reliable transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transit in the area
- Public transportation is not accessible; a personal or rental vehicle is advised
