Responsibilities
- Provide hemodialysis treatment for outpatient ESRD patients, adhering to unit protocols and physician orders
- Monitor patient status during dialysis, including vital signs, fluid balance, and treatment responses; identify and respond to alarms promptly
- Manage vascular access care (fistulas/grafts) and related patient safety considerations
- Perform accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EPIC) within the required timeframes
- Collaborate with nephrology, nursing, and support staff; coordinate care across floating assignments as needed
- Educate patients on dialysis procedures, post-treatment care, and infection control best practices
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and infection prevention standards; participate in routine unit activities and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements
- BLS certification (AHA)
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient dialysis experience
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Ability to work in outpatient dialysis settings and to float to St. Albans and Berlin as required
- Saturday coverage required; no on-call duties
