Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a travel assignment in a long-term care setting in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. The start date is 04/01/2026 for 7 weeks. Compensation is $718-$744 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 3x12-hour days (06:00–18:30). This is a travel - temporary assignment in a long-term care/nursing home environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting, adhering to care plans and physician orders.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Monitor vital signs, assess changes in resident condition, and document observations promptly.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, and rehabilitation-related tasks as needed.
- Maintain accurate charting, uphold infection control standards, and ensure a safe, clean care environment.
- Respond to clinical changes and emergencies per facility protocols, escalating concerns to the supervising clinician.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in Alabama or eligibility for licensure in Alabama.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Graduation from an approved LPN program (LPN diploma or equivalent).
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.
- Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts and maintain reliable, professional communication.
- Must be able to pass background check and any required pre-employment screening.
