Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) travel assignment in Flandreau, South Dakota. Start date 04/13/2026 for a duration of 8-13 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct resident care under supervision, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and turning to promote safety and comfort
- Support residents during meals and provide feeding assistance as needed
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the supervising nurse; document observations in care plans
- Observe infection control practices, maintain a clean environment, and adhere to safety protocols
- Support residents with routine tasks, participate in care coordination, and promote resident dignity and independence
Requirements
- CNA certification or eligibility to practice as a CNA (as applicable)
- Ability to work the listed shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM) and participate in an every other weekend/holiday rotation if required by the contract
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric care setting preferred
- Demonstrated ability to assist with ADLs, mobility, and basic clinical tasks in a long-term care environment
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved CNA program (as applicable)
