Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D), travel assignment in Newark, New York. Start August 10, 2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $2,190–$2,299 per week. Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (1900–0730). Hospital-based unit covering LDRP with Newborn Nursery, rotating weekends, and on-call responsibilities. Floating within skillset is required. NYC (NY) RN license in hand is required to submit.

Responsibilities
- Triage and monitor obstetric patients; assess evolving obstetric needs
- Manage labor, delivery, immediate vaginal recovery, postpartum care, and newborn resuscitation as needed
- Circulate, scrub, and assist with cesarean deliveries; support PACU recovery
- Apply and interpret external/internal fetal monitoring; respond to abnormal fetal patterns
- Administer postpartum interventions, including management of postpartum hemorrhage and preeclampsia/eclampsia; administer magnesium sulfate as indicated
- Start and maintain IV access, manage drips/infusion pumps, and assist with epidural management
- Collaboration with interprofessional teams (PT, Respiratory, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary)
Requirements
- Licenses: NYC (NY) RN license in hand to submit
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute hospital RN experience; demonstrated clinical experience in labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum (LDRP) and newborn nursery
- Skills: Ability to provide comprehensive care across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn phases; capable of triage, perioperative support for C-sections, and neonatal care
- Location: Ability to work in Newark, New York area; floating within listed skillset accepted
