Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job
Registered Nurse – PCU travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date 09/08/2026 for a 13-week assignment with 48 guaranteed hours per week on a 2x4 night shift in a hospital-based PCU/IMCU setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,352 to $2,419.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult patients in a PCU/IMCU, including continuous monitoring, vital signs, and response to clinical changes.
- Administer prescribed medications and IV therapies, including heparin drips, and monitor for therapeutic effects and adverse reactions.
- Interpret monitoring data (telemetry, labs, imaging) and escalate concerns to the physician promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other members of the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient education accurately in the medical record; ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Support families with education, discharge planning, and coordination of post-hospital care as appropriate.
Requirements
- 2 years of RN experience in PCU/IMCU or a similarly high-acuity unit
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Ability to work night shift and participate in a travel assignment
- Comfortable managing IV therapies and critical care priorities per protocol
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment
