Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities; establish goals and a plan of care
- Develop and implement individualized PT treatments, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and manual therapy
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes in medical records
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety strategies, and discharge planning
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control procedures, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Active California Physical Therapy license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- TB clearance completed within the previous 12 months
- Ability to work in an inpatient setting
- Eligible and prepared for a travel assignment with guaranteed hours
