Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse, ICU travel assignment in Geneva, New York. Start date May 25, 2026 for 14 weeks with a weekly pay range of $1,925 to $2,064. Shift is 3x12 rotating (7a–7p and 7p–7a) with a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. This assignment has no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care to ICU patients, including monitoring critical status, ventilated patients, and hemodynamic needs.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for adult, geriatric, and age-appropriate needs; respond quickly to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; manage IVs, drains, lines, and devices as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams; document in the electronic medical record with clear, complete notes.
- Participate in codes or rapid response as required; uphold safety and infection control standards.
- Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge planning and referrals as needed.
Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse license
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation
- NIHSS; Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire; CPI certification within 90 days of hire
- Preferred: Emergency Nurses Association certification within 2 years of hire; TNCC recommended within 2 years
- Ability to work in an ICU setting with adult, geriatric, and other age groups as assigned; demonstrated confidentiality and professional behavior; solid interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Computer literacy; experience with electronic medical records and standard office software
- Capacity to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to a teamwork-focused environment
- Flexible availability for 7a–7p and 7p–7a shifts, with variable scheduling, every other weekend, and holiday coverage
