As an Ultrasound Tech on this assignment, your role will center on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging with professionalism and empathy. Core responsibilities include preparing patients, selecting appropriate transducers and settings, optimizing equipment to produce clearest images, and performing a variety of scans—abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular, and/or other specialty protocols—while maintaining strict infection control and patient safety standards. You’ll document findings clearly for radiologists, assist with preliminary interpretations when appropriate, and ensure accurate equipment performance and routine maintenance. You’ll manage patient flow, coordinate with scheduling and clinical staff to minimize wait times, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
