Role Specifics and Benefits
- Responsibilities: As a Travel Ultrasound Tech, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across a range of body systems in accordance with physician orders. You’ll operate and optimize ultrasound equipment, select appropriate transducers, position patients for optimal access, and apply proper imaging protocols. You’ll ensure image quality, accuracy, and proper labeling, document findings, and communicate results promptly to radiologists or clinicians. You’ll uphold patient safety, privacy, and comfort, adhere to infection control and safety standards, and maintain meticulous documentation. You’ll collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists in fast-paced settings, adapt to different clinical environments, and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
