- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, case managers, and rehabilitative therapies to coordinate care and transitions
- Document thoroughly in the electronic medical record; ensure accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and timely charting
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, plan of care, medications, and discharge instructions; contribute to safe discharge planning
Requirements
- Active registered nursing (RN) license in good standing
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital setting
- PCU experience preferred
- Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with patient- and family-centered care focus
