Registered Nurse - Public Health Nurse needed for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The position begins on 07/16/2026 for a 16-week contract in a long-term care (LTC) - Nursing Home setting. Work is a 3x12 night shift (18:00–06:30) with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Weekly pay ranges from $1,433 to $1,542. This is a temporary travel opportunity through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide RN-level nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including continuous assessment and monitoring of health status.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy; monitor for adverse effects.
- Conduct health screenings and support preventive care initiatives aligned with public health goals; coordinate immunizations as appropriate.
- Monitor infection prevention and control practices; identify outbreaks, implement isolation measures when needed, and document findings per policy.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; communicate with residents and families; assist with discharge planning and referrals.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Active RN license in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Ability to work a 3x12 night shift (18:00–06:30) and participate in orientation scheduled on Tuesdays or Thursdays
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and documentation skills
- Experience in long-term care or public health nursing is preferred
- Proficiency with standard nursing procedures and electronic medical records
- US work authorization
