Vascular Sonographer (travel) for a hospital-based vascular lab in Concord, New Hampshire. Start date 10/19/2026 for a 13-week assignment with a weekly pay range of $2,608–$2,752 and no guaranteed hours. Responsibilities
- Perform arterial and venous duplex ultrasound examinations, including color Doppler and spectral analysis
- Obtain high-quality images and accurate measurements; document findings clearly for interpretation
- Correlate imaging with patient history and clinical indications; recommend additional studies when necessary
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during exams; follow universal precautions and infection control practices
- Operate, calibrate, and perform routine quality checks on ultrasound equipment; maintain organized exam workflow
- Communicate with ordering providers and study interpretations; adhere to lab protocols and scheduling guidelines
Requirements
- Active NH license at time of submission (temp license applications accepted concurrently)
- Certifications: Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVUS/RVS) by ARDMS or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by CCI
- BLS certification required
- Experience: 2+ years in a dedicated vascular lab setting; same-unit experience within the last 9 months preferred; travelers with 2+ years in a vascular lab may be considered
- Ability to work in an acute care vascular lab environment; experience with outpatient imaging and occasional inpatient exams
- EMR experience; Cerner preferred but not required
