Respiratory Therapist — Respiratory Care, Lawrenceville, Georgia. Travel - temporary assignment starting 05/18/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,505–$1,636 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour day shifts on a 12-on/3-off schedule. Work setting is a high-volume acute care environment. Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed respiratory therapies to patients, including oxygen, aerosols, and other supportive modalities.
- Assess respiratory status, monitor ventilator and other airway-support devices, and adjust settings per orders and protocols.
- Manage mechanical ventilation, airway clearance therapies, and bronchial hygiene as indicated.
- Administer, monitor, and document treatments; respond to patient changes and collaborate with the care team.
- Maintain equipment readiness and safety, perform routine checks, and adhere to infection control and safety standards.
- Document all assessments and interventions accurately in patient records and communicate changes to the physician and multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- NBRC-registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (active)
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in respiratory care
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts; schedule may include day coverage as described (6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.)
- No local candidates within 50 miles
