Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) – Atlanta, GA, United States. This travel assignment starts on 08/03/2026 and runs for 8 weeks. Earn a weekly pay of $1,612–$1,724 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is Nights on a 2x3 schedule. Work setting is a hospital-based ER, focusing on high-acuity adult and pediatric emergencies in a busy, level-appropriate environment.

Responsibilities
- Triage patients on arrival; perform initial assessments and assign priority of care
- Monitor vital signs, interpret clinical data, and respond to deterioration
- Administer medications, initiate IV access, and manage basic emergency interventions
- Assist with resuscitation efforts, codes, and trauma activations as part of the ED team
- Document care in the electronic medical record with accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and nursing colleagues to coordinate patient care
- Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and referrals when appropriate
- Maintain strict infection control, privacy standards, and patient safety throughout shift
Requirements
- Current, active RN license in Georgia or eligibility for licensure transfer
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
- Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ED experience
- Experience in a high-volume ER setting; level 1 trauma exposure preferred
- Ability to work nights in a fast-paced emergency department; strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to participate in credentialing processes and onboarding
