Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic imaging procedures across modalities as assigned, including CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, or PET, with emphasis on diagnostic quality and patient safety.
- Operate radiology equipment following ALARA/radiation safety principles; ensure patient comfort, proper positioning, shielding, and accurate documentation of findings.
- Verify patient identity, obtain appropriate consent, prepare patients for procedures, and monitor for adverse reactions, including contrast administration as needed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and the imaging team; maintain clean, organized work area and accurate electronic health record documentation for each study.
- Maintain current certifications, keep up with modality-specific best practices, and participate in ongoing professional development as required.

Requirements
- Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in California or as required by state practice.
- ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT-R) required; current certification in at least one additional advanced modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, or PET) required with credentials such as ARRT-CT, ARRT-M, ARRT-MRI, ARRT-NMT, ARRT-S, ARRT-RDMS, ARRD-RDCS, ARMRIT, SNMT, RDMS, CCI-RCS, RTPET as applicable.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor per AH policy; current certification required.
- Prior multimodality radiography experience and ability to perform duties across at least one additional advanced modality.
- Ability to work in a hospital radiology department environment; comfortable with a 3x12-hour day shift schedule and travel requirements.
