Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Travel) for a 13-week assignment in Clearlake, California. Start date: 09/14/2026. Week­ly pay range: $2,699–$2,863. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 nights (6:00 PM–6:30 AM). Setting: Critical Access Hospital with a Labor & Delivery unit. Assignment is administered through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for women from labor through postpartum and care for newborns up to 28 days old; support breastfeeding and infant follow‑up as appropriate
- Monitor maternal status and fetal well‑being, perform fetal monitoring, and respond to changes in labor as part of the care team
- Administer medications and analgesia per orders; assist with obstetric emergencies and newborn stabilization when needed
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, neonatology, and other disciplines; supervise and coordinate care across teams
- Document care and records in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and maintain accurate, timely charting
- Uphold patient safety, infection control, HIPAA, and confidentiality standards; participate in on‑call coverage and code events as required

Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current NRP certification and hospital conscious sedation certification; initial certification within six months of employment and recertification every two years
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required within six months of employment; recertification every two years
- ACLS and STABLE certifications are strongly preferred; initial ACLS certification within six months of employment and recertified every two years
- EPIC experience preferred
- Education: graduate from an accredited school of nursing; basic computer skills
- Experience: 2+ years recent labor and delivery experience; 3–4 years’ night shift experience strongly preferred; postpartum and newborn care experience desired
- Vaccinations required as a condition of employment (exemptions may apply); E-Verify participation is required
