Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment. This 13-week overnight RN role supports perioperative care in a hospital setting. Start date: 11/02/2026. Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in the operating room, including patient safety, positioning, and documentation of intraoperative events.
- Support anesthesia and surgical teams; maintain sterile technique; manage equipment, instruments, and supplies throughout procedures.
- Monitor patient status and vitals, respond to intraoperative changes, and communicate effectively with the team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate on case planning and turnover, with emphasis on trauma cases and rapid patient turnaround as needed.
- Ensure accurate documentation in applicable electronic systems and access required apps on provided devices (Outlook, Workday, Shift Wizard).
- Participate in on-call coverage and weekend/holiday duties as scheduled.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (state requirements to be met per job) and eligibility to practice in the setting
- OR nursing experience; level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Competency in neuro and vascular skills as indicated on the skills checklist
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Proficiency with Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard on a mobile or electronic device
- Ability to work night shifts and provide weekend/holiday coverage
- Ability to work in a hospital OR environment and adhere to perioperative protocols
