X-Ray Technologist, Radiology | Rochester, NY, United States | Start 04/27/2026 | 13 weeks | $2,194–$2,352 per week | Shift: 12-hour | Travel assignment in a hospital setting. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed.

Responsibilities
- Verify patient identity and review physician orders before x-ray procedures.
- Use radiographic equipment to capture diagnostic images of bones, tissues, and organs per physician orders.
- Explain procedures to patients and address questions; position patients and assist with movement as needed.
- Ensure radiation safety, minimize patient dose, and handle all radiologic equipment properly.
- Maintain accurate patient records, verify data in electronic systems, and ensure images are sent to the PACS correctly.
- Adhere to dual patient identifier procedures and produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation.
- Monitor equipment condition and promptly notify management of any malfunctions.
Requirements
- NYS license (or ability to obtain prior to starting) and ARRT certification.
- Completion of an approved School of Radiologic Technology program.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- Minimum 2 years of X-ray Technologist experience; Level 1 trauma center experience preferred.
- Recent experience with C-arm/O-arm (within the last 8 months); OR experience at a trauma1 center is preferred.
- Ability to move and lift patients; ability to stand for extended periods; strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to report within 30 minutes to on-call shifts.
