Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job
Registered Nurse – PCU in Burlington, VT; start 03/30/2026 for 4 weeks; 3x12 rotating shifts; pay range $2,194–$2,255 per week; guaranteed hours: 0; hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for Cardiology/PCU telemetry patients, including post-catheterization and structural heart care
- Monitor vital signs and hemodynamics; administer medications; manage IV therapy and infusion pumps
- Perform physical assessments, interpret telemetry data, and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with cardiology and interdisciplinary teams; implement physician orders and care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient education in the EPIC electronic medical record; track NIHSS scores as indicated
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, discharge planning, and follow-up care
- Willing to float to other units within the Central Pool PCU/Progressive Care Areas as needed; maintain flexibility with scheduling
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Vermont
- Minimum 2 years of experience in PCU/Telemetry, with cardiology/post-catheterization/post-structural heart patient care
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications; NIHSS required prior to start
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Nursing degree from an approved program (RN) (infection control and safety standards adherence)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting; reliable transportation to and from a facility in the Burlington area
- Willingness to float to other Progressive Care areas as needed; flexibility with scheduling
