Travel Registered Nurse PACU Job
Registered Nurse – PACU travel assignment in Gunnison, Colorado. Start date 05/18/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,285 to $2,405 with guaranteed hours of 30 per week. Work in a long-term care/assisted living setting, supporting the surgical services department through pre-operative and post-operative care. Responsibilities
- Serve as a clinically competent RN within the surgical team, contributing to planning, organizing, directing, executing, and evaluating patient care across pre-operative and post-operative phases.
- Monitor physiological responses of patients during all phases of perioperative care and respond to changes in condition.
- Maintain practice standards by adhering to relevant statutes, rules, and regulations, and participate in ongoing training and orientation to new procedures.
- Complete required training, education, and orientation related to procedures and processes within the department and the organization.
- Provide safe, effective post-anesthesia recovery care, including pain management, monitoring of vitals, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Document care and coordinate communication with the surgical and perioperative team to support continuity of care.

- Colorado CAPS check required
- Must meet certifications as noted in the job notes
- Availability for three to four 10-hour shifts per week with call (1–2 days per week; 1 weekend every 4 weeks)
- Ability to work in a rural Gunnison setting with reliable transportation due to limited public transit
