Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date 06/01/2026 for a 13-week duration. Weekly pay range: $2,188 to $2,258 per week. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the OR, including patient positioning, sterile technique, and instrument handling
- Assist surgeons and the anesthesia team across assigned procedures; maintain intraoperative safety and asepsis
- Prepare and drape sterile fields, manage instrument counts, and ensure readiness of equipment and supplies
- Monitor patient status during surgery, document vital signs, and respond to intraoperative changes
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support efficient room turnover and patient safety
- Support cases involving Level 1 trauma and burn care as assigned, with adherence to hospital protocols
Requirements
- Operating Room (OR) RN experience in perioperative settings
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Level 1 trauma experience required
- Burn experience preferred
- Ability to work night shift and weekdays in a hospital OR environment
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to sterile technique, patient safety standards, and perioperative guidelines
