Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or a defined group of patients using the nursing process.
- Collect and interpret data, assess needs, and develop a care plan aligned with established standards.
- Implement the plan, coordinate care with other disciplines, and employ critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervision as needed.
- Monitor patient progress, administer medications and treatments, and respond to changes in condition with appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the care team; provide education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff as assigned; ensure safe, healing, and efficient care environments.

Requirements
- Licenses: Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE are required
- Education: BSN is preferred
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in ER or acute care settings preferred
- General requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced ER within a rural, critical access hospital; comfortable with night shift and 36-hour weekly schedule
