This is a travel - temporary assignment designed for clinicians with pediatric-focused OT experience working across inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care settings.

- Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks (traveler can be called off for one 10-hour shift per 2 weeks)

- Housing provided: typically 1-bedroom apartment
- Vehicle provided: facility-provided shared company vehicle
- Holidays: traveler must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat pediatric patients across inpatient, outpatient, and LTC settings, with a focus on acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement OT treatment plans emphasizing functional activities and ADL independence
- Conduct standardized assessments and developmental testing; monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Facilitate transitions of care across inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care settings; participate in discharge planning
- Provide skilled interventions in areas such as functional activity training, adaptive equipment, and, when appropriate, feeding/oral-motor techniques
- Document patient care in the charting system (Epic preferred) and support eligibility for billing and core measures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and safety

Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Alaska or pending license accepted; license must be valid prior to start
- Minimum 1 year of clinical OT experience
- Pediatric and inpatient (IP) experience preferred
- Travel experience required; prior travel assignments/work strongly preferred
- BLS certification required
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Ability to work across inpatient, outpatient, and LTC settings within a hospital-based program
