Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and functional respiratory tests to assess patient status
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
- Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and monitor patient responses
- Perform phlebotomy and IV starts/removals as necessary to support care
- Educate patients and families on treatments, devices, and self-management
- Provide NICU-level respiratory care as required and communicate changes to the team
Requirements
- NICU experience required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.)
- Availability for every other weekend (Friday–Sunday) and holiday rotation
- Ability to work in an inpatient care environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
